About Us

The Alaska Rose Society, an affiliate of the American Rose Society,  is an educational society exchanging ideas, information, and experiences of rose growers and rose lovers throughout Alaska.

Our mission is to study, foster, and encourage the culture of roses in Alaska and to support, educate, and encourage rose growers to grow, exhibit, and use roses of the highest possible quality.

The Alaska Rose Society presents educational programs, open to the public, at its regular monthly meetings. During the summer months, the Society organizes field trips and outdoor workshops, also open to the public. For a schedule and information, go to our Activities & Events page.

The Society also publishes a newsletter, The Alaska Rose, available to all members.
