Rose Gardens

Centennial Rose Garden

The Alaska Rose Society supports the Centennial Rose Garden located in Delaney Park (the "Park Strip") at 10th Avenue and N Street in Anchorage. Map to Centennial Rose Garden.

In 2001, the Alaska Rose Society donated and planted several beds of hardy roses in the Garden. Previously, only the hedge surrounding the garden contained hardy roses; all other roses had been tender roses set out annually.

Members regularly volunteer to maintain the garden throughout the summer. Visitors are always welcome to the garden. If you find one of our members at the garden, remember that questions are always welcomed.

Oscar Anderson House

In 2001, the Alaska Rose Society donated and planted five hardy roses at the Oscar Anderson House Museum, located in downtown Anchorage, off M Street and 5th Avenue.
